We all have heard the term, blogger burn out. But what is it? I think it has personal meanings to whom ever is feeling that way. Lost interest..... blogger burn out. Lost inspiration..... blogger burn out. Nothing to say.... blogger burn out. Blogging, blogging, blogging.... blogger burn out. I think that is where I am at for the time being. Things may change in an instant though! :-)
"Burnout is nature's way of telling you, you've been going through the motions your soul has departed; you're a zombie, a member of the walking dead, a sleepwalker. False optimism is like administrating stimulants to an exhausted nervous system."
Sam Keen
So bloglings, until I get my mojo back......... have fun and enjoy!!

I know the blogging burn out feeling. Sometimes it's a real effort to just turn the dam computer on lol
Come back when you feel ready Doreen.
All the best for 2012.
Enjoy your time off and I look forward to seeing you back when the mood takes you.
i had one week of burn out about a year ago, but just one. i love it and am lost without it, but i do know of others who are burned out. enjoy your time off and hurry back when you are ready.
Enjoy a break. I hope to see you return at some point. You have brought a lot of joy to your online friends.
Been here, too, Doreen....come in and out as I can and am inspired to but it surely is not as it once was. Sometimes, it feels a little less important than the realities of life. But, I continue to write for me...quietly, because that is a need of my own.
I will miss you, Doreen and I know I won't be alone in that. I hope you enjoy whatever you do, whenever you do it!
I feel very much the same right now, but I guess for me it is now about lacking time to blog and finding inspiration in living instead of writing.;) Enjoy your break.;))
xoxo
Sometimes it is as if we think the world will go under if we take a break from blogging. It ususally does not! Sometimes we also seem to think that there are no alternatives between every day and never again. But there are!
You take the time you need to get reconnected with your creative "muse" ;)
It's good to take a break from blogging once a while...I close up my blog due to burnout too, and decided to just publish my photos in the blog by participating in photography challenges/memes. Since I think I'm a better photographer than a writer, this suits me well.
It just comes with the territory. I'd rather have an interesting blog with good photos, then a blog where I post every day just so that I post, and then end up with all sorts of things.
Also when you come back you are always fresh and inspired.
